You make some excellent points. With PPC ads being so short, you are extremely limited with what you can do with them. Capitalizing the link is essential.

Understanding the differences between features and benefits is critical (I actually wrote an article about this several months ago). I’ve even worked with professional marketers who really didn’t understand the differences.

I really loved how you described the changes going on in the business world, especially online business where you say that we are moving to and age of referral and recommendation. That is so true and so powerful. You know what though…oddly enough…I think that this is how business was done ages ago so there must be something sensible and valuable about this method of doing business. The circle of life.

Very simply put if it works and generates traffic then a great resource and if not then definitely a waste of time. I have had the most success with Google search in terms of generating traffic.

Yes, you can work from home. I’ve been doing it for almost 8 yrs now. (80% at home except for the occasional team meeting or client on-site meeting). I work in web consulting and we have a virtual model. In California - there are a LOTof freelancers who work from hom and many companies in the US are allowing their employess to work from home several days a week.

The downside? Surprisingly, after many years I am starting to feel a bit isolated and longing for the group dynamics that an office brings! I’m not alone because co-working spaces are cropping up everywhere that allow you to rent a desk and work in a team environment. http://coworking.pbwiki.com/
